Acupuncture and Tui Na improves fertility by regulating fertility hormones. Acupuncture also increases the number of good quality eggs, optimises the uterine environment and reduces stress and anxiety levels. Acupuncture improves male fertility by increasing sperm quantity and quality.
Certain pressure points on the head promote relaxation while points around the stomach help open up the supply of fresh blood to the ovaries. There are also points around the lower legs that are used to promote blood flow to the reproductive organs, which start at the feet.
Acupuncture and Tui Na can also alleviate some of the undesirable symptoms of pregnancy like morning sickness, fatigue and depression.
